Vaccination Process expands and 5 Additional Clinics are involved in Ajara

Pfizer vaccination process has started today in Kobuleti Municipality. Chairman of Ajara AR Government Tonike Rijvadze and Nino Nizharadze, the Minister of Health and Social Care of Ajara attended the process.

Tornike Rijvadze once again called on the citizens to be vaccinated and noted that only vaccination is the most effective tool in struggle with Covid.

‘From today on, intensive vaccinations starts in Batumi and Kobuleti. Dredging cabinets will be expanded and everyone will have access to both a licensed vaccine and relevant medical services. I would like once again thank our American partners, because this is a very large supply that we received. This will allow the vaccination to be carried out intensively. I would like to ask the population, our citizens, once again to take more responsibility and thus we can save both our elderly and children, because with vaccination, it is possible to win this battle with minimal losses’ – Tornike Rijvadze said.

Two medical institutions of Kobuleti Municipality "Kobuleti Regional Hospital" and "Kobuleti Medical Center" will provide services to up to 300 people during the day. There are two small cabinets in each facility. Within the framework of universal vaccination, the number of clinics that will vaccinate citizens with "Pfizer" has also increased in Batumi.
