Batumi Bus Park to be fully renovated by the end of 2022

The republican budget of Ajara for 2022 increased by 6.2% and exceeds 482 million GEL. The volume of transfers to municipalities increased by 5,570,000 GEL and totaled 163,230,000 GEL.

Tornike Rijvadze, the head of the government of Ajara, made a statement about the projects planned within the increased budget: ‘The Supreme Council of Ajara approved the presented budget of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara. We increased the republican budget to about half a billion, which first of all allows us to implement more projects and take care of the residents of Adjara as much as possible. Within this budget, a number of important projects and programs will be implemented by the end of the year. In particular, I would like to highlight the increased number of transfers in the Batumi part, which means that by the end of the year, we will fully renew the bus park in Batumi and, accordingly, we will transfer additional buses to Kobuleti Municipality’ – The Chairman said.
