The Head of the Government of Ajara met with the Head of the NATO Liaison Office
The Head of the Government of Ajara, Tornike Rijvadze met with the head of the NATO Liaison Office in Georgia, Alexander Vinikov.
At the meeting, the parties reviewed the current issues of Georgia's cooperation with NATO. It was noted that NATO-Georgia relations are developing dynamically and cooperation is deepening. The parties also discussed future cooperation plans.
Tornike Rijvadze congratulated Alexander Vinikov on his appointment and noted that Georgia is one of the closest partners of the alliance, regular visits of NATO ships to the Black Sea ports of Georgia are particularly important for strengthening the security of the Black Sea.
Batumi Mayor Archil Chikovani and Batumi Sakrebulo Chairman Ramaz Jincharadze attended the meeting.
