New football stadium of FIFA standards opened in Shuakhevi

The chairman of the government of Ajara Tornike Rijvadze opened a football stadium of FIFA standards in Shuakhevi.

The stadium is designed for 500 spectators. 2 million GEL was spent for the construction of the new football stadium in Shuakhevi.

Today, the traditional public holiday ‘Shuakhevoba’ was celebrated in Shuakhevi. An exhibition and sale of handicrafts was organized. A concert of folk ensembles was held. Honorary Shuakhevi citizens were awarded.

Deputies of the Supreme Council of Ajara and members of the government attended the event.
