Event dedicated to the Lithuania Independence Restoration Day held in Batumi

An event dedicated to the Lithuania Independence Restoration Day was held in Batumi.

Tornike Rijvadze, Chairman of the Government of Ajara participation in the event and congratulated the Lithuanian people on the Independence Day of the Republic of Lithuania.

The event was organized by the Lithuanian Embassy in Batumi, which was attended by David Gabaidze, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Ajara, Batumi Mayor Archil Chikovani, members of the Government of Ajara and the Supreme Council, representatives of the Lithuanian community and diplomatic corps.

Lithuanian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia Andrew Kalindra and Honorable Consul Temur Ustiashvili focused on the plans of long -term cooperation between Lithuania and Georgia, the prospects of cooperation between Batumi and Klaipeda.
