Tornike Rijvadze meets the Mayor of New York, Eric Adams

As part of his official visit to the United States of America, the Chairman of the Government of Ajara, Tornike Rijvadze, met with the Mayor of New York, Eric Adams.

The parties discussed the perspectives of cooperation and exchanged information on the implementation of specific projects. Also, the conversation touched on the important meetings held during the official visit and the achieved results. The head of the government of Ajara informed the mayor of New York about the economic, tourist, and investment potential of the country and the region and the progress achieved in the last period.

The parties discussed the existing strategic partnership between Georgia and the United States of America. At the meeting, plans were made for the implementation of joint infrastructure and investment projects.

"We discussed partnership strengthening, joint infrastructure projects, and investments from the USA. Georgia remains an exemplary country, both in terms of peace policy and the economic progress and growth that our country has had in recent years under the leadership of its government and Mr. Prime Minister. Accordingly, together with the mayor, we have planned projects that will strengthen our partnership as well as promote direct investments from America," said Tornike Rijvadze.

Tornike Rizhvadze held a number of official meetings within the framework of his visit to the United States. The head of government met with the mayors of Miami Beach and Miami-Dade, the governor of Florida, and also held meetings with the leaders of business circles.
