Tornike Rijvadze, the Chairman of the Government of Ajara, held a meeting with the deputy of Artvini in the Turkish parliament, Faruk Celik, and the President of the Association of Independent Industrialists and Businessmen, Mahmut Asmal.

Association of Independent Industrialists and Businessmen MUSIAD operates in 81 countries, including America and European countries, the organization has more than 14 thousand members. The association opened its representative office in Batumi. MUSIAD was founded on the initiative of businessmen and industrialists and unites 60 thousand enterprises and up to 2 million employees.

At the meeting held in the government of Ajara, the parties talked about the importance of strategic, trade and economic cooperation between Georgia and Turkey. It was planned to implement joint projects in trade and industrial direction. Also, the role of the new representation of the association in Batumi in terms of strengthening economic relations was discussed.

The members of the supervisory board of the international association MUSIAD, the heads of the representations abroad, the general consul of Turkey in Batumi took part in the meeting.

The meeting held in the government of Ajara was attended by the Minister of Finance and Economy of Ajara, Jaba Putkaradze, and the head of the Administration of the Government, Tina Zoidze.
