150 Students who won competitions and Subject Olympiads awarded with Laptops and Gifts

Awarding of students who won competitions and subject Olympiad was held. The Chairman of the Government of Ajara addressed the winning students. Tornike Rijvadze emphasized the priority and accessibility of education and noted that with a long-term plan, in a complex manner, maximum is being done so that all students in Georgia have equal access to education, new school infrastructure, and modern technologies.

15,000 students participated in subject Olympiads and competitions held by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Ajara. 147 winning students were identified. Diplomas and personal computers will be given to the winning students.

Subject Olympiads were held in six subjects: Georgian language and literature, English language, mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. Competitions in fine arts, literary marathon, sports competitions were also held.

Minister of Education of Ajara Maia Khajishvili; Chairman of the Higher Council Davit Gabaidze; Mayor of Batumi Archil Chikovani; members of the Government and the Higher Council of Adara took part in the event of awarding students.
