Regional Youth Center summed up 2019 in Batumi. Large-scale events and projects implemented by the Center were discussed at the meeting.

Tornike Rijvadze, the chairman of Ajara AR Government emphasized the importance of quality education of young people and their involvement in the development of the country and the region.

'Youth is the force on which the development of the country has always stood on. Youth is the driving force for positive changes in the country. I am very pleased that we managed a regional youth center to become scaled and thank you all for supporting this idea. Georgia needs educated young people, needs patriots, and at the same time a very pragmatic society capable of making decision and take on the responsibility that will lead our country to peace. We have to be competitive in the international arena. I am convinced that the success of our country will be possible only through the active participation of young people’ – Tornike Rijvadze said.

Over 15 000 young people participated activities implemented by the Regional Youth Center in 2019.

At the meeting, youth publicly discussed plans and programs for next year.

The Deputy Minister of Education, Culture and Sport of Ajara Aleksandre Davitadze and the youth of the region attended the event.
