Water System Development Project in Ajara

The project of water supply and sewage system rehabilitation in villages and towns of Ajara is being implemented in close cooperation with the Government of Georgia, the German Bank for Reconstruction (KFW) and the European Union.

Tornike Rijvadze, the Chairman of Ajara AR Government met with the representatives of KfW. They discussed the progress of the water infrastructure project in Ajara and evaluated the results of the survey.

More than 200,000 citizens of Ajara villages and settlements will have modern water supply and sewage infrastructure within the framework of the water system project.

Ajara Water and Wastewater Program is implemented by JSC Adjara Water Alliance together with contracting companies. The program costs € 59.5 million.
