Emergency Budget of Ajara AR

Work on the emergency budget of Ajara has been completed. The draft budget was sent to the Supreme Council for consideration and approval. Relevant changes have been made in the budget and more than 20 million GEL will be spent on the fight against infection and it will be distributed both on quarantine spaces and on replenishment of health care supplies.

Citizens will be provided with food. As soon as the budget is approved, about 10,000 beneficiaries will be provided with a primary food basket.

One of the important and central issues in the emergency budget is the support of agriculture. In Ajara, all farmers and ranchers will have maximum support from the state, both in terms of land cultivation and local production.

The government of Ajara is working with the central government on an additional tourism promotion and incentive plan that will serve to sustain the sector.
