Agricultural Spring Works underway in Ajara

Agricultural spring works are going actively in Ajara.

Tornike Rijvadze, the Chairman of Ajara AR Government got acquainted with works in the village of Bobokvati with Tite Aroshidze, the Minister of Agriculture of Ajara. Farmers of all municipalities of Ajara will be able to cultivate arable lands for free with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Ajara.

‘According to the anti-crisis agricultural plan of the Georgian government, each farmer will have maximum support. In the framework of the special budget of Ajara, farmers of all municipalities will be able to cultivate arable lands for free’,

Tornike Rizhvadze said. Tornike Rijvadze also visited the seedling farm equipped with modern technologies in Akhalsopeli. Seedlings produced within the framework of the program of the Ministry of Agriculture – ‘Promoting the Development of Seedlings in Highland Ajara’ will be distributed free of charge to farmers of all municipalities of Ajara for free.

According to Tornike Rizhvadze, seedlings are being actively cultivated, which will be distributed to farmers and they will be able to develop local production as much as possible.
