Unicef to be involved in Dream City commission work and Criteria Development

Tornike Rijvadze, the Chairman of Ajara AR Government met with Ghasan Khalil, UNICEF representative in Georgia.

Tornike Rijvadze thanked Ghasan Khalil for involvement in Educationand Healthcare systems’ development in Ajara and stressed the importance of the Foundation in ensuring the growth and development of children.

UNICEF will be involved in working group of ‘City of Dreams’, which reviews the criteria for meeting the citizens. The meeting discussed the ongoing programs supported by Unicef, as a result of which Ajara will benefit from modern health services.

Ghasan Khalil has also visited Medina Clinic today, where he presented a program of remote antenatal care for pregnant women starting in Ajara today.
